| On April 17, Rob Bishop (R-UT) reported his border bill, the National Security and Federal Lands Protection Act (HR 1505), to the U.S. House of Representatives. Now is the time to urge your representative to strongly oppose this bill. Over 30 federal protection laws, including the Clean Air Act, Clean Water Act and Endangered Species Act, would be waived on public lands in a zone that extends 100 miles into the United States from all land borders. HR 1505 puts dozens of National Parks, tribal lands and protected natural areas at risk.
