The four-member conservative bloc on Wisconsin's highest court completed the demolition of the institution's credibility this week.
The bloc begun to sully the good name of the Court and justice-for-all-in Wisconsin when it predictably rubber-stamped last year the approval of Scott Walker' imperious eradication of public sector bargaining.
And, through recusals that increased this week, the conservatives blocked an ethics code hearing against fellow conservative Justice David Prosser that arose from his allegedly angry confrontation with liberal Justice Ann Walsh Bradley as the Court prepared to issue the pro-Walker ruling Prosser was drafting.
The decision on the collective bargaining wipe out was a foregone conclusion.
Now the ruling majority has found a fresh way to make a mockery of justice.
Quite a feat for the justices, and defeat for justice in Wisconsin - - by the justices themselves.
