Obama Enthusiasm Gap? A GOP Fantasy In Milwaukee

Ticket distribution began Wednesday afternoon in Milwaukee at President Barack Obama's campaign offices for his Saturday rally on the Summerfest Grounds.

I was told people were in line at the King Dr. campaign office - - one of many in the City - - after 4 p.m. and there was a steady line more than a block long by the time we got there at 6:15 p.m.

We got our tickets in 45 minutes and there were plenty of people behind us.

All in all - - an upbeat, friendly, diverse crowd, with many buyers at the table past the registration table getting T-shirts, buttons, bumper stickers and dorm window signs.

Enthusiasm gap? I think not.
